Hey, a cool new utility that I didn’t know existed… At Podbop the instructions are simple:

1. Enter your city

2. Listen to bands playing in your city.

3. Go see them in concert.

Very cool. So you can subscribe to the Lawrence or the Kansas City podcast, and you’ll get either full songs or clips from artists that are soon to be playing gigs in town. Cool! The date on the podcast is the date they’ll be in town.

As expected, I got knocked out of the poker tournament nice and early last night. Called Knuckleheads only to find out that Big Smith never made it over from Springfield. Damn those damn ice storms. Guys, please come back soon.

Yeah, the weather convinced me to stay in last night. Luckily Big Smith is playing a show tonight too, over at Knuckleheads. Unfortunately, I’m playing poker tonight. If I get knocked out of the tournament early enough, I’ll probably head out. See you there?

If they move next year’s Green Bay/Kansas City game overseas, I am just going to riot.
