Wow
Is there a better way to end opening day than a six run bottom of the ninth, capped off by a two run walk-off homer to win the game? Wow! In NCAA tournament news, I went from near last place in our office pool throughout the tournament to taking first last night. They all laughed at me when I picked UConn to win. It's always the jackass who knows nothing about basketball who ends up winning the pool, right? Posted by Ryan Olson at April 06, 2004 08:01 AMComments
That's why I won two pools last year and one the year before.... Posted by: The Great and Powerful Raj on April 6, 2004 04:40 PMThey laughed at picking UCONN? Sign me up for your pool next year! In our pool (50 ppl), UConn was the 2nd most popular pick for winner after Duke. I picked 3 of the final 4 teams right, and the winner, and still only managed 3rd place. Posted by: Gurney_Halleck on April 7, 2004 10:06 AMOurs was about 1/3 Duke, 1/3 OK State, a few Stanfords, one Pitt and one UConn.
